How to Equip Sensor Backpack in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2
When you touch the hologram audio log your new objective will be simply “Equip the Sensor Backpack.” There are two locations you can possibly go for this. Seeing as the south marker is too close to Tilted Towers and a bad choice, we went to the point between Camp Cuddle and Tilted Towers. You will find the backpack here on the ground. It slightly blends in so you might end up right on top of it.
How to Scan Energy Fluctuation
With the backpack equipped you will now have the objective of “Use the Sensor Backpack to find an energy fluctuation around Loot Lake.” While the map shows the marker directly on Loot Lake, this isn’t one of those quests that you’ll have to complete at that spot. You’ll notice as you get closer to loot lake, the Sensor Backpack’s beeping will increase in frequency. Normally you would have to follow the beeps in a game of Hot and Cold, but we found the spot so you don’t have to hunt for it. It’s possible there are other energy fluctuations to find in the area. Though, seeing as you only need to find the one, this the one we came across.
