How to Save Emma in The Quarry
As one of the nine camp counsellors at Hackett’s Quarry, Emma can be killed when facing the monster or trying to escape. If you want to save her, be sure to follow each step carefully in The Quarry.
Chapter 4
Emma
After finding herself on the island, Emma will need to fend for herself upon reaching the treehouse. The first hurdle is not to open the trapdoor, but to search the bags instead. This will equip Emma with a Taser or Bear Spray, which will come in handy as the monster attacks after the trapdoor is opened. Be sure to get your QTEs right to escape any attempt by the monster to harm Emma, and keep her safe on the zipline by mashing the right button. Eventually, Emma will make her way back to the treehouse, climb up the trapdoor and barricade it. After progressing the story further, we will return to Emma at the treehouse. Players will have to reel in the zipline slowly, even as the monster approaches, and this will allow Emma to escape without harm. As long as Emma is able to avoid infection due to an attack, and Jacob is saved from infection as well, she is home free when it comes to surviving the events of the night.
